After a close call with a mouthless demon, Buffy starts to hear the thoughts of everyone around her—yes, including Xander, and yes, he’s thinking what you think he would be. Just as the torrent of thoughts threaten to overwhelm her, Buffy hears one thought loud and clear: “This time tomorrow, I will kill you all.” Soon the Scoobies set off on a search across school for a possible shooter, while the Slayer lies in bed, awaiting a cure that might never come.
